"Deck The Halls," art with room for words at the top of the art if used for a greeting card

Some viewers said the oil painting "Deck the Halls" evoked memories of going to church as a child or of dressing up to go somewhere special. Others pictured the gingerbread house sitting on a table at an elegant tea party.
I pushed dough through a pastry bag ("piped it out") and baked it to make a decorative chimney for the roof. I purchased the beaded ornaments at Nell Hill's shop in Atchison, Kansas. The angel pin is an antique reproduction.
