In 2005 Lynell Morgan took this photo of two sisters in the countryside near Auburn, Nebraska. Then Nancy Lee Moran painted on the sepia photograph with oil-alkyd-resin glazes, adding each color by hand. Sometimes handcoloring (hand-coloring, hand-tinting) a photograph gives it a more nostalgic or storybook look.
