"Mallory"
For Inspiration, I liked the breeze in Mallory's soft hair, her sparkling eyes, and the friendly cat that lived in the garden. In this 2001 pastel, I aimed for a timeless storybook look, a memory of childhood to keep.
In 1991, when only two years into my portrait profession, I painted the three oldest children in this family. Mallory was born four years later.
